Privacy Policy
Effective date: 29 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Duited handles information in Duited POS, a local-first POS, inventory and business management app for small businesses.
1. Local-first design

2. Information the app may store
Depending on how the user uses the app, Duited POS may store the following information on the user's device:
- Store or business profile data, such as business name, receipt details and settings.
- Product and inventory data, including item names, barcodes, prices, stock quantities and product notes.
- Sales records, receipts, refunds, voids, discounts and payment method records entered by the user.
- Purchase records, purchase documents, supplier invoices, receiving records and payment status.
- Customer or member data entered by the user, such as names, phone numbers, notes or purchase-related records.
- Staff or user data entered by the owner, including names, roles, PIN/login settings and permission records.
- Supplier data, such as supplier names, contact details and purchase history.
- Photos, attachments or proof images added by the user.

3. Camera, photos and files
The app may request camera access for barcode or QR scanning, receipt or invoice images, and photo proof attachments. If the user adds photos or files, those items are used to support the user's own business records.
4. Bluetooth and connected devices
The app may use Bluetooth or nearby-device functionality to support receipt printers, barcode scanners and cash drawer workflows. These permissions are used for device connection and business operation features.
5. Backup, export and sharing
Duited POS may allow users to export, share or back up reports, receipts, business records or database files. These actions are user-initiated and controlled by the user. Users are responsible for choosing where exported or shared files are sent.
6. Data selling and advertising
Duited does not sell user data. Duited does not share user data with third parties for advertising purposes. Duited POS does not currently use advertising SDKs.
7. Cloud sync, payment processing and e-invoice
This policy does not claim cloud sync, online payment processing or official e-invoice API integration unless those features are implemented and disclosed in a future version. If those features are added later, this Privacy Policy and Google Play Data Safety information should be updated.
8. User responsibility
Users should protect their device, app PINs, backups and exported files. Business owners are responsible for the personal or business data they enter into the app.
